Dear Carter, Bush, Willis, Young, Johnson, and Green Family! I want sincerely thank you for nominating me to serve as your Chair for our 2022 Family Fun Day and 2023 Family Reunion. A special thanks to Floraine Cunningham for serving as our 2021 Family Reunion Chair and our Committee Members for your hard work. Your commitment and dedication to our family has been extraordinary. We had a successful 2022 Carter, Bush, Willis, Young, Johnson, and Green Family Fun Day. It is now time to plan our 2023 Family Reunion. Together, we have endured a pandemic with great faith and strength and we continue to hold on to the traditions and values of our ancestors and descendants. As we move forward to a bright future, we are indeed a family with favor reconnecting and uplifting each other in love and building on our momentum. We must continue to encourage and embrace each other to maintain a solid foundation, strong faith, and secure future. We can learn a lot about our family at our next events by creating lasting bonds. A family reunion is a memorable event and we plan to share new moments and memories that will last a lifetime. These are the perfect occasions to connect with one another. It is a time for rekindling relationships as it is not uncommon for family members to lose touch with one another. Share your Ancestry DNA Trees. Reconnect with family domestically and internationally and anyone who you have not kept in touch with over the years. It may be possible to find out about family members you did not know you even had, such as distant cousins or younger family members. Bonds are often strengthened during reunions and it remind us to take a step back out of our busy schedules and remember what is important in life - family. Another reason to hold a reunion is that it provides a means for younger family members to learn about their history and heritage and to hear stories from the elders about the start of the family tree. I appeal to each and every one of you to pledge to carry the Carter, Bush, Willis, Young, Johnson, and Green torch and legacy with unconditionally love and support. Let us continue to take the time to lift each other up in prayer because we have something very special and it is called FAMILY.
